International Women’s Day Fundraiser to provide for Domestic Violence victims

This International Women’s Day, stand with women and children in our community at Women, Wellbeing & Influence – a premium lunch event celebrating leadership, resilience and purpose, while raising vital funds for The Lisa Harnum Foundation (Official) 💜

The Lisa Harnum Foundation works tirelessly to support and empower those impacted by domestic and family violence. Through safe housing, confidential counselling, case management and community connection, they help survivors rebuild their lives with dignity, safety and hope.

At todays International Women’s Day Lunch that was organised by the amazing Macquarie Park Business Chamber City of Ryde Mayor Trenton Brown confirmed that the City of Ryde will provide $20,000 in funding to support the delivery of a Domestic Violence Safe Room Trial in the City of Ryde, operated by the Lisa Harnum Foundation and co‐funded by Rotary and local corporate partners. This doubles our the fund raising efforts of the our club to get the Safe Room pilot up and running.

Every dollar raised at this event contributes directly to critical frontline services that keep families safe and help break the cycle of abuse. THis event put together by the Chamber, brought the business community together for meaningful impact and all fundraising from the lunch will also go towards the Safe Room initiative.
