Do I need need to be a member of Rotary to do some volunteering?
No, all are welcome to join us. It is a great way to get involved without any committments and an even better way to get to know Rotary.
-
I only have 2 to 3 hours a month to volunteer, how could I get involved.
That is great - most of our volunteer activities are short and sweet. Our tree planting outings are typically 3 hours in the morning and a great way to get started volunteering with us. Our Bunnings BBQ run all day but volunteers get rostered on for set time slots.

100% of our funds raised get allocated to projects. Our club is by volunteers who pay for their own travel and expenses.

Yes, we get it. Life is busy and it is hard to committ to regular volunteering sessions. That’s why we have many opportunities like Tree Planting or Gift Wrapping at Christmas Time that do not require long term committments.

What should I do if would like to become a member?
We welcome new members. If you are community minded, live or work in the Ryde Municipality, and have a soft spot for fellowship, charity and enlightenment, why not contact us and ask about joining. We are happy to have you drop in on a few meetings to find out more about what we do. There are no secret handshakes – we don’t need them. The secret is to give more than you receive. The secret is to participate. Rotary is an international network of influential, successful people. In this age of networking, what better place to call home than your local Rotary Club?
